The Communio Internationalis Benedictinarum, C.I.B. for short, is a world
network of Benedictine nuns. It arose in the year 2000 from an advisory
commission of the Abbot
Primate in Rome. 18,000 Benedictine nuns and sisters around the
world are attempting, with the help of this network, to share and work
together beyond the borders of their respective individual belonging to
a particular Benedictine tradition. The C.I.B. is planning to set up its
own web-site.
